Richard S. Greene, M.D., is one of the founding partners of Skin and Cancer Associates. Dr. Greene is a Board Certified Dermatologist with over 40 years of experience in dermatology, cosmetic services, dermatologic surgery and hair loss treatments.
Dr. Greene is a pioneer in the field of hair transplantation. Over the course of four decades, he has performed more than 10,000 individual hair transplants and has seen techniques evolve from the early stages to new, highly specialized micro and mini grafts. Dr. Greene has earned an international reputation that has been cultivated by patient referrals and word of mouth, with two thirds of his patients coming from around the world and one third of his patients living in Florida. Dr. Greene completed his undergraduate studies at Harvard University and received his medical degree from Tufts University School of Medicine. He performed his internship in internal medicine at Tufts Medical Service, Boston City Hospital and performed his residency in Dermatology at University Hospital, Boston University Medical Center where he was appointed to Chief Resident in Dermatology. He then performed Military Service as Major in the U.S. Army Medical Corps as Chief of Dermatology at Fort Leonard Wood Army Hospital.
Dr. Greene is a Diplomate of the American Board of Dermatology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Dermatology and served as an associate clinical professor of Dermatology at the University of Miami School of Medicine. He has co-authored many published articles and has hospital appointments with Biscayne Medical Center, Westside Regional Medical Center and Memorial Hospital West.
